The Blues are heading back to Greenwood! 

In August of 2022, Asheville City Council announced an improvement plan for Memorial Stadium slated to begin in Spring of 2023. The changes to the dimensions of the field and fan capacity have required the club to seek an alternative home venue that allows us to reach our potential and ambitions on- and off-the-pitch. We have been honored to have been stewards of Memorial Stadium and a small piece of its almost 100 year sporting history.

In 2023 we will compete in at least 13 highly competitive home matches across both our women’s and men’s seasons at Greenwood Field at UNC-Asheville. We have been thrilled with our conversations with Athletic Director Janet Cone and the Bulldog staff and look forward to successful seasons for our women, men, and academy teams. 

Concessions, including local food trucks and beer sales will be available in the stadium.

Founded in 2016, ACSC was created as a way to help local players pursue their dreams and grow the game while using soccer as a way to give back to the community. Asheville City’s women’s and men’s teams will return to play in the summer of 2023.
