Asheville City Soccer Club is thrilled to announce that it will be hosting the Round 1 game of the prestigious Open Cup against USL League One team, One Knoxville, at Greenwood Field located on the campus of the University of North Carolina Asheville (UNC Asheville).

Mark your calendars for March 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., as Asheville City SC prepares to take on the formidable One Knoxville in what promises to be an exhilarating clash of soccer talent. The Open Cup has long been celebrated as one of the most esteemed tournaments in American soccer, and Asheville City SC is honored to play a pivotal role in this year's edition.

Greenwood Field, nestled within the scenic surroundings of the UNC Asheville campus, will provide the perfect setting for this highly anticipated matchup.

"We are proud to represent our city on this national stage. We extend a warm welcome to our opponents, One Knoxville, and look forward to an exciting game. Hopefully they’ll be heading back over the mountain with one less boot.”

Tickets for the game will be available for purchase online through the Asheville City SC Merch website starting Monday March 4th, as well as at the gate on matchday.
