Asheville City Soccer Club Names Former Player Brooke Bingham as Women's Head Coach

Asheville City Soccer Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Brooke Bingham as the new head coach for the 2024 season. Bingham, a former Asheville City SC player and UNC Tar Heel standout, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. Her deep understanding of the game, coupled with her leadership skills and commitment to player development, make her an ideal fit to lead the team forward.

"We are sad to see Billy go, but we understand and respect his decision to prioritize his family," said Tim Blekicki, General Manager of ACSC. "At the same time, we are thrilled to welcome Brooke Bingham back to the club in a new capacity. We have full confidence in her ability to build on the foundation laid by Billy and lead ACSC to continued success."

Bingham expressed her excitement about the opportunity, stating, "It's an honor to return to Asheville City Soccer Club as the head coach. I have fond memories of my time as a player here, and I am eager to contribute to the club's legacy in this new role. I look forward to working with the players, staff, and supporters to reach our goals for the upcoming season."

ACSC extends its heartfelt gratitude to Billy Lesesne for his contributions to the club and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors. The club also extends a warm welcome to Brooke Bingham and looks forward to a successful 2024 season under her leadership.
