Yuliia Khrystiuk has made the leap to the professional level, signing with Scottish Women’s Premier League side Hibernian FC. Khrystiuk played three seasons with the Blues (‘22, ‘24, ’25) and was a part of the club’s first USL W League South Central Division title and Southern Conference Championship while picking up the game-winning assist against Lonestar in the Conference Championship.
Khrystiuk first came to the Blues in 2022 during their inaugural USL W League season. Khrystiuk then came back to Asheville in 2024, helping to lead the club to the first USL W League playoff berth in history. She came back again in 2025 and picked up multiple crucial goal contributions in the team’s run to the National Semifinals, including assists on the game-tying and game-winning goals in the Southern Conference Championship in the 89th and 121st minute, respectively.
Khrystiuk played her college ball at Old Dominion and spent six years with the Monarchs. The midfielder amassed 49 starts in 83 appearances (did not play in 2023) during her time at school, scoring 8 goals and dishing out 16 assists. The Monarchs won three conference championships back-to-back-to-back (‘21, ‘22, and ‘23) during her tenure in Norfolk, and Khrystiuk appeared in two of the three national tournament matches (missed 2023) that they played in during that time.
