ASHEVILLE, NC — Asheville City Soccer Club (ACSC) is taking its commitment to community building off the pitch this summer. In collaboration with HF CES, ACSC has announced a special community partnership event scheduled for Saturday, June 27. The event is designed to bring together soccer supporters, student athletes, local families, community organizations, and corporate sponsors in a relaxed, engaging environment. To foster deeper local connections, ACSC is giving everyone the opportunity to meet and grow!
“Our goal is simple: we want to create a space where the incredible network surrounding Asheville City Soccer Club can connect, collaborate, and celebrate together,” said Mathes Mennell, Ed.D. Chief Operating Officer, Sporting and Club Operations “This event is a thank you to our partners and an opportunity for them to showcase the vital work and services they bring to the Asheville community, while offering free professional resources to our rising local soccer players.”
Event Highlights:
- Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Enjoy a vibrant, community-centric setting designed for all ages
- Engage Directly: Connect face-to-face with the dedicated ACSC sponsors and supporter base, meet the ACSC high-level players, coaches, and trainers. Student-athletes can hear firsthand from players and coaches on what is needed to get to the next level of play, as well as gather free resources from the wellness professionals who help keep the ACSC players healthy. Younger kids can enjoy fun parking lot soccer games with ACSC players and can grab free ice cream. The whole family can see what our community has to offer, all while offering free resources to student-athletes, and giving back to the supported local charity: Babies Need Bottoms.
