Founded in 2016, Asheville City SC brings the love of the game and the excitement of the future to our community and our players. 

Top coaches, with a focus on development, advancement, and sports science conditioning and recovery mixed with an explosive fan base make ACSC an elite organization.

MENS

Parker Siegfried (2017-2018)

Louisville City FC (Former)  

Parker Siegfried, a standout keeper for the Blues for 2017 & 2018, was selected in the third round of the MLS SuperDraft by New York City FC in  January 2020. In March 2021, Siegfried signed with Louisville City FC. 


  

Cameron Saul (2017-2018)

Mr. Asheville himself, Cameron Saul, was a fan favorite forward for the Blues in 2017 & 2018. In 2019, Saul signed with Greenville Triumph, before going on to sign with Finn Harps in the League of Ireland Premier Division for the 2020 season. In 2021, Saul joined Gamma Ethniki side Zakynthos in Greece where the team finished first, promoting them to Super League Greece 2. 


    

Dominic Boland (2018)

Dom Boland, a defender from Glasgow, Scotland, was a standout defender for the Blues for the 2018 season before advancing on to play for the Greenville Triumph. 


   

Manny Perez (2018)

Louisville City FC (Current)

A native of North Carolina, midfielder Manny Perez played for the Blues in the 2018 season before traveling overseas to join the Scottish Premiership side Celtic. After a debut in the MLS with Austin FC, Perez signed in 2022 with Louisville City FC. 


   

Jamie Smith (2018-2021)

Young Player of the Year, captain, and Birmingham, England native, Jamie Smith joined Asheville City SC in 2018, and continued on with the team in 2019 and 2021. For the 2022 season, Smith signed his first professional contract with Greenville Triumph.


   

Dylan Burke (2019)

Bremer SV (Current) 

Defender Dylan Burke brought his talents to Asheville City for the 2019 season. After spending some time overseas with the German association football club, Bremer SV, Burke officially signed with the club for the upcoming 2022-2023 season.


   

Chris Allan (2019)

Memphis 901 FC - WikipediaMemphis 901 FC (Current) 

Midfielder Chris Allan spent the 2019 season racking in the goals for the Blues before moving on in 2021 to sign with USL Champions Atlanta United 2 where he made 18 appearances before missing the second half of the season due to surgery after a hip injury. In 2022 Allan joined Memphis 901 FC.


   

Jonny Mennel (2019)

Loudoun United FC - WikipediaLoudoun United (Current)

Asheville native and Christ School standout Jonny Mennell signed with Asheville City for the 2019 season. Currently, Mennell attends Xavier University and has played for Loudoun United FC out of Leesburg, Virginia. The team was founded in 2018 as the reserve team of D.C. United made its debut in the USL Championship in 2019.


   

Jan-Erik Leinhos (2021)

Louisville City FC (Current) 

Defender Jan-Erik Leinhos spent the 2021 season with Asheville City before signing with Louisville City. Leinhos made his debut for the club in the U.S. Open Cup in a 1-0 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves. 


    

WOMENS 

Jennifer Cudjoe (2018-2019)

Club legend, Ghanaian midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe spent the 2018-19 seasons playing for Asheville City before becoming the club's first player to reach the NWSL. Cudjoe signed with Sky Blue FC  for the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup before being selected by Racing Louisville FC in the 2020 NWSL Expansion Draft, and then being reacquired by Sky Blue. Cudjoe currently plays for NJ/NY Gotham FC.


   

Parker Roberts (2018-2019)

Orlando Pride - WikipediaOrlando Pride (Former) 

Before signing for NWSL’s Orlando Pride, midfielder Parker Roberts spent the 2018-19 season playing for Asheville City. In 2021, Roberts was signed by the Orlando Pride, making her professional debut on Sept. 11, 2021, as a substitute for Marta in a 3-1 win over Racing Louisville FC. 


    

Abbie Brown (2019)

An All-Conference goal-scoring machine, forward Abbie Brown was a standout star for Asheville City’s 2019 season. Brown was offered a contract by Portuguese team, Valadaras Gaia, before bouncing around a bit and signing with Leeds United. 


    

Louise Griffiths (2019)

Defender Louise Griffiths spent the 2019 season in Asheville before the defender took her talents overseas to play professionally for Sunderland FC. In June of 2022, it was announced that Griffiths had signed a new contract with Sunderland as one of their core players going into the new season. 


    

Gillian Oyos (2019-2022)

Newcastle United F.C. - WikipediaNewcastle United F.C. (Current) 

Asheville City favorite Gillian Oyos spent 2019, 2021, and 2022 representing the Blues before signing her first professional contract with Newcastle United.


    

Alyssa Fraizer (2022)

Rävåsens IK Karlskoga - Föreningar - Svensk fotbollRIK Karlskoga (Current)

Following her 2022 debut with Asheville City SC, midfielder Alyssa Frazier signed her first pro contract with Swedish club Rik Karlskoga.
