Both ACSC teams will play at Memorial Stadium on July 9 for what will be the final double header of the season.

The women’s team kickoff the night against NC Fusion in their final match of 2022. The Fusion are 0-10-0 this season with the Blues having defeated them twice. Kick off is set for 5 p.m.

Although unable to qualify for playoffs, the women’s team adding three points to the table will benefit them in the final division standings. The team is currently ranked fifth.

The women’s team dealt with adversity all season, but the team was resilient and never gave up on a challenge.

“This whole season has been a lesson in dealing with adversity. We’ve had so many unique challenges thrown our way,” head coach Jimena Rojas said.

Leading goal scorers for the season have included Kiley Dulaney, Alyssa Frazier, Roisin McGovern, and Dani Murguia. Emory Wegener and CJ Graham are both solid at goalkeeper.

Later in the evening, the men’s team will face off against Tennessee FC at 7:30 p.m. Our opponents are ranked seventh in the South Central division. The Blues won 3-0 the last time the teams played.

A win for the men’s team would secure a spot in USL2 playoffs.

With the women’s season coming to an end, the men’s team still has two regular season games left. The first being a 45 minute make-up match against Tri-Cities on July 12. The second is an away game against SC United Bantams on July 16.

If selected for playoffs, the Blues will play the weekend of July 22 in a location to be announced.
