Asheville City’s men’s team will cross time zones on Friday, June 17 to face Tennessee FC in Nashville, TN. Kick off will be at 7:30 p.m. central time.

Tennessee FC is 2-2-3 so far this season and is ranked seventh in the South Central Division. The leading goal scorer is Kyle Galloway with three goals this season. He is a graduate transfer from Marist College having previously played at Rutgers.

On Tuesday, the Blues played the SSA Kings in Atlanta, GA. The game ended in a 1-1 draw with a goal from Kameron Lacey. The men’s team hopes to bring home three points to keep their first place ranking in the South Central Division.

“The group's reaction has been very dedicated and determined since SSA,” head coach Scott Wells said. “We are approaching the game knowing what’s on the line and continue to understand there is a target on our back every game.”

Both ACSC teams will return to Memorial Stadium on Tuesday June 21 for a double header. The women’s team will play the Charlotte Independence at 5:00 p.m. and the men’s team will play One Knoxville at 7:30 p.m.

The Tuesday game against One Knoxville will be crucial for the Blues playoff chances and the fight to remain number one in divisions standings. The team will be counting on the support from their fans in this battle.
