On Tuesday June 12, both ACSC will be on the road. The women’s team will travel to Greensboro to face the NC Fusion with a 7:00 p.m. kick off. Then, the men’s team will travel to Marietta, GA to face the SSA Kings with a 7:30 p.m. kick off.

The women’s team travels after a tough 1-0 loss to Wake FC on Saturday. The team looks to improve their record with a win in Greensboro. Our opponent, NC Fusion, is 0-6-0 this season. Last time the women’s team played them, ACSC won 3-0.

The women’s team will be without a player as Yuliia Khrystiuk has been called up to play for the Ukrainian National Team. Asheville is proud of her accomplishments and wishes her the best of luck.

The men’s team will be traveling to the Atlanta area to face the SSA Kings. The Kings are ranked eighth in the South Central Division. This will be the first and only time the two teams play each other this season.

On Saturday, the men’s team had an impressive 4-1 win with Lucas Gonzalez, Kemy Amiche, Bachir Ndiaye, and Kameron Lacey all scoring. Lorenz Hoover was named man of the match by head coach Scott Wells.

Later in the week, both teams will have away games. On Friday June 17, the men’s team will cross time zones to play Tennessee FC in Nashville. Then on Saturday, June 18 the women’s team will travel to Charlotte to face the Charlotte Independence.

The Blues will return to Memorial Stadium for a double header on Tuesday, June 21.
