On Wednesday, June 1 the men’s squad will travel to Johnson City, TN to face the Tri-Cities Otters. Kick off will be at 7:00 p.m.

This will be the Otter’s home opener after three games on the road. Our opponents have two wins and a loss so far this season. The Otters are led by head coach David Strickland who has been with the squad since their inaugural season.

ACSC returns to action after a draw against Tormenta last Tuesday. The game was delayed with both a thunderstorm and a power outage. Clay Obara scored the lone goal to help the Blues take home a draw. Asheville City currently sits at second place in their division, just behind One Knoxville SC.

“We could not be more excited to get back on the field after more than a week off,” coach Scott Wells said. “We have had time to work on our team culture and start to form some great relationships on and off the field. This will only put us in great shape going to Johnson City against a very good Tri-Cities group who have made it clear it is not easy to come away with three points. We will be ready.”

Next for the men’s team is another away game against Peachtree MOBA on Saturday June 4. MOBA is currently ranked seventh in the South Central Division.

The Blues return home on Monday June 6 when South Georgia Tormenta comes to town for what's bound to be an epic showdown (we promise to keep the lights on...probably).
