Greenville and Asheville City hold the first and second place rankings, respectively, in their division. So, this will be an important game to decide the number one spot in the South Atlantic Division. Kick off will be at 7:30 p.m.

Greenville Liberty SC has an undefeated record so far this season. Forward Caroline Conti of Clemson University is their leading scorer with three goals this season. The team is playing in their inaugural season.

Last week, the Blues played two games in the Raleigh area, both ending in draws. Van Fitch, Alyssa Frazier, and Dani Murguia all scored goals for the Blues.

“We need to keep working and we can do better. We have a lot of new players and we need to find that chemistry. If we have that chemistry we will be able to reach our goals,” head coach Jimena Rojas Cordero said.

The women’s team will hit the road again on Friday, June 3 for a rematch against the Greenville Liberty. The men’s team will also hit the road this week with away games against Tri-Cities Otters and Peachtree MOBA.
