Both Asheville City’s women’s and men’s teams will close their regular season with a trip to Rock Hill, SC to face Independence Central and Charlotte Independence 2, respectively. Kick-off for the women’s game is slated for 4:30, followed by the men’s game at 7:30.

Independence Central is ranked fifth in the Carolina Conference with a 0-1-6 record, compared to City’s second place standing and 6-1-0 record. Last time out, Central lost 3-2 to fourth ranked SC United Bantams.

The two sides met earlier in the season, with the Blues taking the spoils via a 2-0 victory in Asheville.

Later Sunday evening, the Boys in Blue will take their 5-6-2 record to square off with Charlotte Independence 2. ACSC currently sit a position above seventh place Independence 2 and their 4-5-4 record.

In the reverse fixture, the Blues drew with Independence 2 with a goal a piece. Asheville City hopes to end the season on a high note with a win, which could propel the Blues to a fourth place finish in the Deep South Division.

For those not traveling to see the Blues in person, the game will be live-streamed on Eleven Sports.
