ACSC 2024 Internship Applications

Asheville City Soccer Club is actively seeking a new set of interns for the 2024 season. 

We will be looking to fill several internship positions for the 2024 season covering many of the major roles involved with running a successful soccer club. All interns will become an integral part of the club staff and help shape Asheville City’s season. 

Interns will gain real world experience in the industry while working collaboratively with other interns and club staff.

The internship is unpaid and must be done for course credit. 

Individuals may fill one or more of the following positions depending on skillset. 

Available Positions

Gameday Operations: Individuals will receive experience in the planning, execution and management of all gameday operations and club events. Interns will work with ACSC’s General Manager and Assistant General Manager to set up, operate and manage gameday facilities, with each intern taking the lead in the elements of providing a seamless fan experience. 

Photography & Videography: Individuals will assist with practice, promotions and game day photo shoots for website, social media and club archiving purposes. Game day shoots will include pregame, game footage, fans and postgame. (Please specify if your skillset is in photography, videography or both on your application)

Audio/Video Editor: Individuals will edit video, edit still photography and edit audio for podcasts. Interns will organize and sort raw video and photos, edit pre & post game recaps, help create video clips and help create graphics for website and social use.  Editing to include, but not limited to, pre-game hype videos, post game recaps, player/coaches interviews. Please note: editors can work remotely in some cases.  

Journalism, Communications, Marketing: Individuals will help with game recap summaries for the website and to be sent out to media partners. Work with the team to promote team and gameday activities and special events. Assist with social media calendar creation. Assist with monitoring social media channels and activities. Assist with game day and promotional materials including but not limited to game day programs, newsletters and special event promotion. Help organize and sort video and photos for use in future digital content. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
